Mike feels so blessed to be part of the Seton Foundation and Seton Academy. He strongly feels it was the Lord’s plan to establish a new Catholic school in the community. A lifelong parishioner of Holy Rosary parish, Mike and his wife (Kim) enjoy their 8 children and 7 grandchildren. Mike has 20 years of management and administration experience at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Almost 10 years ago, Mike left that career and homeschooled his 4 school-aged children. The following year, an opportunity arose to become a full-time Jr. High teacher at St. Elizabeth Seton School in Rochester focusing on math and technology. Mike taught there for 6 years until the school closed in June of 2022. With the decision to close St. Elizabeth Seton school, Mike worked with a group of amazing volunteers to create the Seton Foundation and establish Seton Academy. There are so many examples of the Lord’s guidance as the team answered His call to create this wonderful school. Kristen ParenteauOffice Administrator,Marketing & Communications
Kristen is very excited to join Seton Academy and brings approximately 25 years of senior administrative and program and event coordinating experience with her, working 10 years in a college academic environment and several years managing a non-profit organization. She is a lifelong parishioner of Holy Rosary & St. Leo's, along with her husband of 31 years, Mark and her 2 adult daughters, Olyvia (Ms. Parenteau) and Madison. "I followed my heart here, as I truly believe in the importance of Catholic education. With my daughters both attending St. Elizabeth Seton School and myself attending Catholic elementary school, I have seen and experienced first-hand, the fruits that come from this. I am truly blessed to be a part of the Seton Academy family."

Erika Robichaud - Teacher, 1st & 2nd Grade,
Assistant Head of School & Seton Foundation
Board Member
This will be Mrs. Robichaud's (Erika) 33rd year teaching. She has taught kindergarten and first grade and is extremely excited to teach 1st and 2nd together. She has many years of experience teaching multi-age classes and is a huge advocate of them, as most Montessorians are. It is very important for her to build a good relationship with you and your child. She always asks for parents to send her pictures and share your life with her as much as you are comfortable! "We are a family." Erika loves her faith, coffee, camping, boating, skiing, and spending time with her husband, 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 dogs. Erika is also a Seton Foundation Board Member and Assistant Head of School in Mr. Pelletier's absence.Email: [email protected]
Debra Stauble - Teacher, 3rd & 4th Grade
We are so happy to have Mrs. Stauble (Debbie) with us for a 2nd year. She will be teaching our 3rd & 4th grades this year. Debbie and her husband, Bill are new to the area, after having lived in Amherst, NH for 39 years, where they raised their 5 daughters. She has a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from River College. Debbie volunteered with us and quickly became our 2nd & 3rd grade teacher last year. She was a preschool teacher for 15 years and also taught religious education in Nashua. She likes to spend her free time playing tennis, pickleball, hiking and reading, but especially loves being with her 16 grandchildren (5 of whom attend Seton Academy!). She is very honored to be a part of this special school, helping children grow in knowledge, faith and love.

Tom Minich - Teacher, Grades 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th

We welcome Mr. Tom Minich this year as part of our Jr. High Faculty Team!
Tom worked as a paraprofessional last year and returned as a full-time faculty member this year. We are so happy to have him as part of the Jr. High Team!

Sal Ferraioli - Teacher, Grades 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th
Language Arts & History
This is Mr. Sal Ferraioli's second year with us at Seton Academy! He and his wife Tina, moved from Cape Cod to Rochester, to be near their son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. Graduating from Cardinal Spellman High School, Brockton, MA, Sal holds a B.A. in English Literature from Boston College. He’s had a multi-faceted career, with over 40 years in real estate and sales. He retired from River View School in East Sandwich, MA, after 9 years as a Residential Instructor in the G.R.O.W. Program, preparing young people with learning disabilities, to learn life and work skills, to live on their own. For over 50 years, Sal has been involved with many Catholic ministries, including teaching C.C.D., St. Vincent de Paul Society, Knights of Columbus, and currently with the Catholic Journeymen, at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, in Somersworth. The students (and staff) love Mr. F. and are so excited to have him as part of the Seton family!

We welcome Mr. Bates to Seton Academy from Holy Trinity, in Laconia NH this year. Michael assists with the Jr. High Team. This is Michael's first year teaching. He also shares bus driver duties for our Holy Trinity students.
Maria Vertetis - Teacher, Grades 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th
Mathematics
Mrs. Vertetis was raised in a strong Catholic family. After receiving 12 years of Catholic education in the Hudson Valley of NY, she attended Russel Sage College where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree. After college, she worked many years at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY. After moving to NH with her husband and young son, she returned to school at UNH and completed her Master's in Secondary Education, Mathematics and obtained her 5-8 Mathematics teaching certification. With subsequent classwork and experiences, she obtained her K-8 teaching certification. After graduating, she substituted at St. Elizabeth Seton School until she was hired at Holy Trinity School in Laconia. She continued teaching there until she joined Seton Academy in 2022. Maria brings a strong love of teaching, especially Mathematics with her to Seton Academy. In her free time, Mrs. Vertetis enjoys spending time with her family, reading and outdoor walks.

Olyvia Parenteau - Teacher, Pre-K & Kindergarten
This is Miss Parenteau's third year teaching at Seton Academy. Olyvia (Lyv) is a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, where she has assisted with many vacation bible school camps and youth group activities and events. She is a graduate of St. Elizabeth Seton School, and was a teacher's aide for two years under the mentorship of Mrs. Robichaud. She has been Lead Summer Camp Counselor, working with elementary aged children for several years. Prior to this, she taught at her Highschool's Preschool, where she earned her 'Early Childhood Education' certification. She brings with her the dedication to early childhood education and the love of working with young children.
When not working or in school, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, (including her cocker spaniel, Bailey), singing, dancing and attending country and Christian music concerts.

We are happy to have Miss Breton join Seton Academy this year, assisting Mrs. Robichaud in the 1st & 2nd grade classroom and Miss Parenteau in the Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom. Abby has worked as a Lead Camp Counselor for Mrs. Robichaud for several years and previously worked as a paraprofessional in a local elementary school before joining us. Miss Breton is currently pursuing her degree in Elementary and Special Education and is planning to continue teaching young children. Abby recently got engaged and is enjoying planning for her wedding, we are so excited for her!!!

We are happy to have Mr. Sirois with us at Seton Academy this year. Than is helping in many areas; currently teaching 4th grade Math and Technology and he assists with our Enrichment and Aftercare programs.Lisa Payeur, Education Specialist
Miss Payeur is a Rochester native with a large family who attended Holy Rosary Parish and School. She is currently a parishioner of St. Ignatius of Loyola in Somersworth. Lisa has an adult foster daughter, Samantha, who happens to have a disability, yet brings everyone much joy & love. Lisa attended Keene State College and UNH Grad School. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-8, Special Education K-12, and Intellectual Disabilities. She holds a Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education, ages 3-8 yrs. and in Special Education. She has taught ages 3 yrs. - 56 yrs., over a span of 31 years. She began her career with adults at Perkins School for the Blind in MA and went on to teach in NH for private special needs schools in Rochester and Somersworth, and in Barnstead and Somersworth public schools. She is a lifelong learner who loves to meet the learning styles and challenges that all students present. We are blessed to have Ms. Payeur join us this year!Nancy Lessard, Education Specialist
Joshua Clark - Physical Education Instructor
Mr. Clark (Josh) is grateful for the opportunity to teach physical education at Seton Academy. He and his wife, Angela, have five children, three of which attend Seton Academy. Josh obtained a doctoral degree in physical therapy and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology (human movement) from Husson University. Josh works as a physical therapist and his specific passion is empowerment through education of how exercise can restore natural, pain-free movement. With a recreational background of track and field, triathlons, skiing, and soccer, Josh is excited to bring these experiences to the students of Seton Academy to help foster an understanding of how to exercise effectively and to show the students the joy of competitive sports.
