Educating in Faith the Heart, Mind and Soul
Mike feels so blessed to be part of the Seton Foundation and Seton Academy. He strongly feels it was the Lord’s plan to establish a new Catholic school in the community. A lifelong parishioner of Holy Rosary parish, Mike and his wife (Kim) enjoy their 8 children. Mike has 20 years of management and administration experience at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Almost 10 years ago, Mike left that career and homeschooled his 4 school-aged children. The following year, an opportunity arose to become a full-time Jr. High teacher at St. Elizabeth Seton School in Rochester focusing on math and technology. Mike taught there for 6 years until the school closed in June of 2022. With the decision to close St. Elizabeth Seton school, Mike worked with a group of amazing volunteers to create the Seton Foundation and establish Seton Academy. There are so many examples of the Lord’s guidance as the team answered His call to create this wonderful school. All those involved – Board Members, volunteers, faculty, staff, collaborative partners bring so many wonderful gifts to the families of Seton Academy!
